          2000 Economic Development Plan:  The 7-Member Task Force presented to the Tohono O’odham Legislative Council the Economic Development Plan of the Tohono O’odham Nation.  The Legislative Council approved this plan on January 4, 2000 through Legislative Council Resolution.  The Economic Development Plan included the structure, role and responsibilities of the Economic Development Authority.

2001 EDA Charter and Operations Plan:  The Tohono O’odham Legislative Council adopted the EDA Charter and Plan of Operations on April 3, 2001 through Resolution #01-141 and #01-142.  In 2006, the Tohono O’odham Legislative Council also approved of an Amended and Restated Charter through Resolution #06-092 that enables EDA to build a more diversified business portfolio by allowing EDA to engage in business development off the Reservation.
