To leverage existing footprint at the tribal offices and buildings here on the Tohono O’odham Nation, EDA launched its first business venture called Sunshine Vending on January 6, 2006. As a business division under EDA, Sunshine Vending offers a wide range of beverage and snack products. Initially, Sunshine Vending placed vending machines in Sells since it is the main headquarters of the tribal government, businesses and offices. Then our growth took us to the surrounding communities throughout the Tohono O’odham Nation.

We have a total of 75 vending machines. Sunshine Vending continues to grow with more customers asking us to place more vending machines. We offer customized and personalized service, so Sunshine Vending allows our customers to select healthy alternative products and other brand name products. In addition, Sunshine Vending offers profit sharing for all customers that have our vending machines placed in their departments and buildings. The business office is located in the mobile home next to the EDA business office in Sells, Arizona. |
